Making a new bar feel like it’s been part of the block forever.

Our friends at Wildcat know a thing or two about hospitality and good vibes. They just needed an expert at banging some wood together.

Wildcat Tavern set out to be the place that feels like the fond memories of a spot your parents might have hung out when they were younger and cooler. They knew that becoming one with the community would require a fine balance, a particular aesthetic, and a space that doesn’t loudly proclaim itself the neighborhood watering hole, but simply and unfussily made patrons feel comfortable and satisfied. They brought the references, a few rough plans for the preferred layout, and heaps of collected vintage decor, and collectively we clarified the details, dialled in the dimensions and fabricated just about every fixed piece of furniture in the room, using up the offcut panels to make a few matching two-tops. Celebrating their third anniversary now, let’s just say the built-ins have held up better than every appliance… and the good vibes are stronger than ever.
