Riverside Bookshelf - Complete Interior Build
We built this space for and with our community, our friends, and our families, so we knew from the beginning that it had to be designed with intent. Our goal was to have a space that was not just meant to beautifully present books, but to be flexible enough to accommodate performances, get-togethers, workshops, intimate readings, and whatever else our creative community might come up with for pop-up events or programming. We also wanted it to represent something of the place in which we are situated, the town of Paris, on the banks of the Grand River, and to engender a broader sense of ownership, of belonging to the community.

Every component can be easily replaced or modified, and every unit can be flat-packed and reassembled in minutes.
An eye-catching, wraparound wave of books! Creates a signature spatial identity and ties into the geography of Paris.
Plus a small stage accommodates storytime, author talks, and a range of performances.
