Contacted by a member of the design team for Canada House at the Rio 2016 Olympics, with an incredible opportunity to contribute to the atmosphere of some of the lounge spaces our Olympians would use to kick back, relax and connect between events - this project demanded a few modifications to the design in order to have the multiple 9-foot-long pieces ready to ship in time for their installation. This variant uses CNC cut components to reduce fabrication time and overall part count, while also outsourcing the actual illumination to another Canada House partner, Canadian Tire! All came together beautifully onsite, and without a hitch.
